LED Mirror Troubleshooting Guide

While the mirrors we carry here at Lighted Image are of the highest quality, issues can still arise. As part of our mission to provide the best LED illuminated mirrors available, we have included this troubleshooting guide. If you encounter any of the issues found here, this guide will surely help to resolve the issue at hand. You can also consult our installation guide for help installing our mirrors, or our FAQ page for more advice.

Common Issues

Once you have received your LED illuminated mirror from Lighted Image, you will need to follow our easy to understand installation guide. Once this is complete, be sure to test all the features of your mirror. Once installed, the most common issue found is a malfunctioning sensor switch.

If the sensor switch was bypassed during the installation process then there could be a slightly loose wire within the circuit itself. Giving a little pull on each wire to ensure it is secure enough would be worth a try, as sometimes during the shipping process these wires can become slightly loose.

Additionally, the sensor switch may not work if it is located too close to an adjacent wall. It generally needs about 3-5 inches of space in order for it to function properly. When there is power to the mirror, you would wave your hand past it (roughly about an inch away or use the mirrors edge as a guide and slide your hand down it) to turn it on and again to turn it off.
